Not A Happy Baby

My Daughter is 4weeks old on Friday, and I've had many sleepless nights. (Welcome to motherhood). She had a great day yesterday wide eyed and happy most the day when she wasn't sleeping. Me & My Fiancee got some decent sleep the night before last too as she slept 3hours each time from 4pm on 16th through to last night 12, but once I'd popped her into her moses basket last night she woke up at 2am as usual i changed her feed her as usual and she drifted of but once I poped her into her moses basket she was crying and and off all the way through to now where its still carrying on.
Shes had what 2 hours this morning but 1 hour at a time. Last night she was crying anytime i was putting her down. if her dummy fell out shed cry, i nearly fell asleep with her in the bed cause she seems to calm down sometimes when in my arms laying in between me and my fiancee, which i know i shouldn't do but I don't have the energy to sit up and stay awake with her.
My Fiancee has tried taking her but shes the same with him.
I have tried feeding her, changing nappy and a bit of a cuddle. but still she screams
but still the crying was going on.
I've tried ingoring her but after 5 mniutes i cant take it any longer and pick her up, i've checked her tempreture its 36.5c which is around normal i think. she's been teething quiet a bit too.
Not A Happy Baby Today :(
Sam's Making Pie&MAsh So at least I have something to look forward too Yummy!

Her 1st Tooth Already

I headed off the bed 7 hours ago with my Fiancee and Daughter to try and start her off with a new routine. and did she settle.... No!
everytime i put her down she was crying if her dummy fell out she'd cry, I changed her nappy, fed her, winded her, rubbed her belly, checked tempreture and cuddled her. I just could not see what was up with her. so me and my Fiancee gave up trying to sleep and brought her down stairs. my Fiancee said he'll make some bottles up so i can have a rest from breast feeding, and to see if it will settle her, as he was making them and i was trying to keep her as calm as I could, I noticed something on her gums.... I was like no way! not already, it was, Her 1st tooth is trying to make its way through. as soon as i rubbed my finger over it to double check it was a tooth coming trough, she stopped crying.

Great, as soon as I know whats wrongshe shuts up and sleeps and now I'm wide awake and have a busy day tomorrow

3week old daughter with her first tooth coming through already.

Labour to Baby

On 23rd I got sent to hospital by the midwife because i had HIGH Blood Pressure and 3 counts of protein in me urine. (as she came out for a routien visit)
so when I got to hospital went to Triarge they monitored my BP every 5 minutes and put one of those monitor babies heart rate and my contractions. was there for an hour and a half.

I had to have my waters broken due to having Pre-eclampsia (HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE) plus i was having contractions before they broke me waters anyway so its as if i was going to go into labour eventually anyway, but they had to break waters to start off labour cause pre-eclampsia could of killed me &/or baby. once they broke my waters i mange to get to 3-nearly 4cm dilated but i stuck at 2-3cm for a long time. it was a stressful labour cause they was doing my blood pressure every 5 minutes (they arm thing never came off all the way through.) i went onto gas and air after a while cause Sam asked if there was pain relief cause he saw i was getting in more pain ( i thought i had to wait for them to offer and didn't realize that i was in labour. (didn't kick into my head i was in labour. like the twat i am). they kept having to take blood off baby's head while i was in labour cause i wasn't going passed 3cm for a long while plus they had to check to she if she was okay while i was in labour
and if she was in any distress, It hurt like a bitch them doing that cause it was a stupid foreign doctor. my contraction where going every 2-3 minutes still on gas and air. (Gas&Air is good stuff :D ) Through all this they was taking my blood and i was on a load of drips too. Monitoring baby's heart and my contraction. There were wires all over the place. Any way..... Sam turned round to me and said i need some higher pain medication cause he could see it was getting worse and worse, and i had been putting the epidural off (saying no to it) through most of the labour cause i didn't want it. cause Sam said its probably best to get it (convinced me) and that doctors where saying all the way through that it would be that best thing for me and baby. I finally said yes. as soon as I said yes that was like right Miriam we are going to give you a C-Section
then went into theater i can onli just remember the epidural mainly cause it happened when a bloody contraction happened. through the c-section cause i was that high on gas and air all i can remember is seeing Sam in scrubs a blue screen being put in front of me. Sam talking to me through C-section me not feeling a thing after that cause of epidural the suddenly hearing Kiara crying so i started crying. cause i knew she was finally here and she was born and alive. then they came over and said it's a little girl.

Kiara born 23rd October at 23:11pm, weighed 5lb 14oz

9hour long labour (from waters breaking) In between the time of the gas&air to the epidural I was having phone calls trying to get hold of my mum. she arrived giving Sam some time to pop to get something to eat as he'd not eaten all day, stuck by my side the whole time apart from that, I'm so proud of him, I couldn't of done it with out him, he kept me calm when they needed to see how far I was dilated, when they took blood from baby's head and every contraction. Mum was an awesome help too. everything was hectic in my labour room.
Dad was awesome for getting me straight to the hospital even though he wasn't feeling too well, (ha and when we got to the hospital we realized he had a flat tyre).

I was stuck in hospital for 6days which felt like a month because it took me a while to stop feeling all high from gas&air. I onli had to be in for 3days from C-section but because my blood pressure was so high (well one minute it was fine next it was Sky high) they wouldn't let me go home it got to day 4 and I reali wanted to go home, plus I could see that Sam wanted me and Kiara home cause he was all alone most the time.
After coming out of theater I went in the high observation room. (Tiny room with just me and Kiara and a sink lol. it was so bloody hot in there) I was stuck in there until Sunday, when they took me upto the ward then that night got rushed back down to Labour suite as my blood pressure was 200/110 (at the lowest its meant to be 140/90) the the next morning I was back on the ward. until I left on Thursday night.
Now it sounds like a sort amount of time but when I was in the high observation room It felt like a week. I couldn't move properly until sunday afternoon. Nurse button for the win. I was stuck in a bed not being able to even sit up, its not nice.) I couldn't even get up to get Kiara. Then Sunday felt like 3days. and then monday- thursday felt like 2-3weeks. All this was because of no sleep just cat napping/power napping.

Well that most of it I've got loads more to tell. It's just to knakering having to write it all.

Updates on things.

Radiator Update:-

Did they fix the leak and every thing that day.... NO!
Had three other guys out after that, when one of them seen that I'd had so many people out and spent over 2 hours here fixing the actual problem. had no leaks since Yay! The guy who did the final job was disgusted in the other people.

I have Flu currently, me and Sam both haven't been able to move its been reali bad. Was able to move to go shopping yesterday, once we got back we just slept and felt like crap again. Both have a bit of energy today which is good. I've managed to hoover the living room and kitchen, and plan to wash the pots later on today. Trying to do little bits at a time, as I get out of breath reali quickly had to take two breaks during the hoovering of the living room. I have carpet down, in the living room does completely fit but its going to do for now.
My Dad & Penny have been Angels this last few weeks... well they always have! They've managed to get a carpet that should fit just right in baby's room, haven't managed to get it up stairs yet as me and Sam haven't had the energy. But I've had phone calls off them every day checking if we are alive and need any thing :D!
Think dad's reali excited as I'm due to have baby tomorrow and he's on standby for me dropping. Some one who was due the same day as me had her baby on Sunday. I'm like is it my turn yet??

well thats an update.. can not think of anything else.

Can't wait for baby to come!!

Rant - about heating people.

Had a leak on the radiator over a week ago, they then fixed it then two days later it started leaking on the other side. So I rang them they got some one out a day or two later, and the guy said that my boiler hasn't got much water in and I need a part and that my radiator is fixed.
I then woke up next day water all over kitchen floor again radaitor leaked again so I rang them up they said "They've just ordered a part for it and they'll ring me when they have it."
3 days later I ring up to check as I'd then had no heating for or hot water for that long and they said "The part should be in the next day to give them a ring", so they rang me on Friday saying "The parts in, can they come out Monday I said alright", but remembered that on Thursday they said "They'd be able to get someone out on the Saturday if the part was in as I'm pregnant and it needs doing."
So they said "Yes that's fine we'll be there Saturday."
I ring them up Saturday about 3-4pm as no one had turned up and the guy hadn't got the part and hadn't heard of my address or the job at hand, so I had to go with out for even longer.

hehe My BIG Rant about Heating people.

Got a phone call this morning saying " Oh we do appoligize that nonoe turned up on Saturday for you Miss Jones, this does not normally happen, can we have someone come out this morning to you?"
I'm like "Yes! Please!"

Because I've now got a cold with a bad cough I've been having 2 duvets and 3 therm-o flees blankets and still I'm freezing.

Lets hope they turn up.

Midwife Visit.

I had the usual midwife visit today, had me bloods taken, thought she was going to bruise me like the others did but by the looks of things there is no bruise onli a little scratch, hopefully that's the last blood test for a very long time. 2 out of the 3 BP were high and I have protein in me wee. Lol So she's sent that off, now I have to keep a big eye on the signs for Pre-Eclampsia. She also told me to get the thought of being in slow labour out my head. (as i told her that's what everyone thought and asked if I was).  But other than all that, Baby has a healthy heart beat, is 3-5cm engaged(I think that is what she said) and Baby also has a Bonie Bum... hehe. 3weeks on Friday left... hopefully... and then no more back pain I hope. People told me have a nice hot bath and relax..... my back now hurts more now though, takes more effort then you think to have a bath and being this fat lump, can I shave my legs any more... NO haven't been able to for a while, and when I try it takes so much effort, and so does washing my hair... now its longer takes more effort too. (hehe there's a lot more of a moan).

My Rant: - Pain, movement, uncomfortable, I want my baby!

Well I'm now what they call full term (I think, at least that's what the emails said) 36weeks, last three weeks I've been feeling the pregnancy a lot more, swollen ankles, back pains, stomach pain (BH), headaches. Lots of stuff to moan about. Some times I enjoy it cause I'm like is baby coming?? They getting over excited when BH get reali painful, then they stop, and my Fiancee is getting fed up, one minute it's like I'm going to have baby, next the pain eases. This is why I never told him I was in pain before, because he gets too excited hoping little one is coming. He's spent so much time talking to belly saying "get out, put your head down and push" Bless him. He's been such a help and looks after me so well. Today's pains have been awful, the started getting bad yesterday, then today I was in so much pain that I just burst out into tears, then called my mum cause I just didn't know what to do, cause I could barely move, took me a couple of minutes to get up the stairs and each step felt like a huge hill. Mum end up coming over by then the pains had eased and she stayed for a cuppa and washed me pots bless her. :D 20 minutes after she left the pains came back, stupid! I wondered up to bed and laid down slept for about an hour or so, then came down stairs to the sofa to sleep and now I can't get to sleep, hence why I'm writing on here cause I feel I just need to let it out have a rant and maybe my mind will ease and pains will go, therefore I may get to sleep. So There you go my rant! :D

  • - Baby Stuff [x]
  • - Gas & Electric [x]
  • - Phone Line Fitted [x]
  • - Internet fitting [x]
  • - Carpets [ ]
  • - Repairs Completed [ ]

Just waiting on baby to arrive, got a few rugs down so it's not to bad without carpets but I can't wait to have them down, just need to get the money for then or get some given some how. I have all the underlay in a cupboard so the bit that normally cost a lot of extra money is here. I must say I wouldn't of had any of this done without my Family and friends, so I thank them all so much =D.

Me, Sam and the Kittens are settled in now. Everything looks like it should, i.e. living room looks like a living room not a games room Lol. Sam's happy now that we have the internet fitted, because he can go on Xbox live, he's been bugging me about it for ages. I'm happy we have a stable internet now as I can go onto an online game, Hehe 4Story, it's like World of Warcraft, but its not, WoW is to addictive. I'm glad I've got a home phone line now too, means I can ring the hospital myself if I need to find out if I'm in labour and ask all those random questions, plus its cheaper to ring the Family and cheaper/free for them to ring me. :D Thanks to Dad, I have a telephone, Bless him he dropped it off this morning for me.

Wishing this baby would come out, having to run up and down the stairs every minute to pee is getting quiet annoying, and I'm never comfortable, sleeping on the sofa at the moment as bed isn't as comfortable as it used to be, plus I breath LOUDLY and keep Sam up, I kept myself up its that loud. I keep telling myself 1 more month, 1 more month.....

First Blog Post

This is my first Blog, so don't shoot me if I ramble :D
My Names Miriam Hannah Jones people tend to call me Mj. I'm currently 18 years of age. I'm currently Pregnant, 1 month left as from today. I don't know what I'm having, I'm liking that whole idea of a surprise.
I Live in Nottingham with My Lovely Fiancee Sam (20) and our two kittens Spade & Frizbee.
Me and Sam are going nutts waiting for baby to arrive, because we have everything and all is ready and waiting, its getting boring, we both get up in the morning, sit on the sofa, turn to eachother and think well what now. But I'm having a lot of the mother roll already. Washing the pots, feeding the cats, feeding me and Sam, cleaning the house down, putting laundry away. Gosh you don't realize how much your mothers used to do for you until your doing it yourself.
Well I think thats all I can think of putting today. :D Thanks for reading

Spade!

Spade, named Spade by Sam as he said its a good weapon to hit a chav with, hit anyone with infact. plus i reali could not think what to call her.
This biggest fussy cat I know, when it comes to Spade its true when they say your cat owns you, you don't own your cat. If she wants something she'll tell me and bugg me until she gets it. But I love her, and she loves to sit on my bump. she enjoyed her car ride home sat still all the way back, I'm trying to find out what type of cat she is as someone said she maybe a Bengal, as she looks very much like one. Hmm..
.

Frizbee

My Big Poser Kitten.

Just found her true love, the plumber, as he was repairing my radiator she would not leave him alone, she leave him stroke her and she generally was enjoying it, normally when I stroke her I get the look asif to say 'What are you doing women'. So unfair I don't get that much fuss and I feed her.
